Crown Automotive Group Celebrates 50 Anniversary At Rays Game

The Crown Automotive Group continued its 50th anniversary celebration with a special appearance at a Tampa Bay Rays game for founder Dwayne Hawkins. The last 50 years have seen Crown grow into one of the nation’s largest privately owned dealership groups.

I want to thank everyone in the Rays organization for making this such a special night for me and all of Crown.

Dwayne Hawkins, founder and CEO of Crown Automotive, was given special recognition by the Tampa Bay Rays during a game for the Crown Automotive Group’s many years of partnership with the baseball organization. It also paid homage and celebrated the local automotive group’s 50th Anniversary.

“It was a touching ceremony,” said Hawkins. “I want to thank everyone in the Rays organization for making this such a special night for me and all of Crown.”

The Crown Automotive Group is the official automotive sponsor for the Tampa Bay Rays and has been a major partner in the community with the baseball organization since the team started playing over 20 years ago in 1998.
