d-Wise Realigns its Executive Leadership Team, Names John Leveille Chief Executive Officer

The d-Wise Board of Directors has named John Leveille, the current COO and a Co-founder of d-Wise, Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Bud Whitmeyer, who has been named Chairman of the Board. Bud will remain engaged with the Company and will be able to focus more of his time on corporate growth strategy as well as seeking out new ways that d-Wise can contribute to the Life Sciences and Healthcare industries. “John is a talented executive and has demonstrated exceptional professional growth in my tenure at d-Wise. John has the leadership skills, focus and judgment to take our current global business units to the levels called for in the strategic plan,” noted Mr. Whitmeyer.

Mr. Leveille, a technical software architect with more than 16 years of Internet and distributed computing systems experience, has taken an active leadership role in running company operations and consulting projects over the past several years and has contributed deep technical expertise on solution architecture and design, the hallmark of d-Wise consulting services. John and Bud have worked closely over the past three years, and now John will lead the management team, with the help of the business model that Bud established to further position and expand d-Wise services for the coming years.
Mr. Leveille is a SAS® alumnus, and earlier in his career led development of the SAS®/IntrNet Web Application Server, a core infrastructure component for SAS’s web-based data warehousing, data mining and OLAP software products. John was also awarded two patents while at SAS, for inventions related to Internet technologies.
