Dana Rader Golf School and The Golf Club at Ballantyne to Host the 14th Annual Ballantyne Junior Open February 7-8, 2015
Charlotte, North Carolina (PRWEB) January 10, 2015 -- Over 100 young golfers from all over the U.S. will tee it up at the 14th Annual Ballantyne Junior Open being hosted again this year by The Golf Club at Ballantyne on Saturday and Sunday, February 7-8. The Open is a 36-hole stroke play golf tournament directed by Marc Lapointe, Director of Instruction, and Molly Tullar Braid, Director of Junior Golf, at Dana Rader Golf School.
Junior Golfers are flighted into four groups by age and gender: Boys age 13-14 and 15-18, and Girls age 13-14 and 15-18. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00am on Saturday the 7th, and concludes with a final round on Sunday the 8th.
Entries must be mailed, and the deadline is 4:30pm Friday, January 16th. The final field will be posted online at http://www.danarader.com/BallantyneJuniorOpen.cfm by 4:30pm Tuesday, January 17th. The field will be determined by various factors: the player’s performance in the 2014 Ballantyne Junior Open, national ranking, state ranking, scoring average and/or by special exemption by the tournament committee. The general public is welcome to observe, and admission is free. Tournament results will be posted online Sunday night at http://www.danarader.com and given to various media outlets.
