The Bahama House Hotel offered rooms available for October and November fall festivals and events. This oceanfront resort in Daytona Beach, Florida welcomed guests attending the many fall events. A sample of the festivities included the Halifax Arts Festival, the Greek Festival, the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts, and the Turkey Run.

The Halifax Art Festival took place in early November and celebrated its 56th anniversary. The festival offered live entertainment, children’s activities, a student art competition, and art. The 42nd Annual St. Demetrios Greek Festival took place from November 8th – 11th, festival goers enjoyed dancing, food, and entertainment. Travelers could also enjoy the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts in mid-November where attendees could view paintings, jewelry work, glass work, and art sculptures. There was also youth activities, live music, and street performers for entertainment. The 45th Annual Daytona Turkey Run was held November 22nd through November 25th. This family event included a car show, car corral, swap meet, arts & fashion, and more.

The Bahama House Hotel is located at 2001 South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach, Florida. This oceanfront resort never charges a resort fee. Amenities such as a complimentary daily continental breakfast, happy hour, parking, fresh baked cookies, and high-speed Wi-Fi internet access are all included in their affordable rates.

The continental breakfast is served daily from 7:30am until 9:30am in the Grand Bahama Room. The menu features “make your own” pancakes, donut holes, assorted Danish, assorted breads, English muffins, croissants, plain and cinnamon raisin bagels, jellies, peanut butter, cream cheese, assorted cold cereal, oatmeal, grits, bananas, assorted yogurt, hard boiled eggs, sausage, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea with condiments. On Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, biscuits and gravy are also served.

The daily complimentary cocktail hour takes place from 5:30 to 6:30pm in the Grand Bahama Room. This nightly happy hour features a variety of beers, mixed drinks, wine, Coca-Cola products, and mixers. Popcorn and light bar snacks are also served. Lansberry adds, “The cocktail hour is always a hit. We have heard from many guests that they enjoy the opportunity to mingle with other guests. Many new friendships have been made during our daily happy hour.”

The Bahama House Hotel offers rooms with either an ocean view or an ocean front view. All rooms are 400 plus square feet and have a private balcony. Rooms with a kitchenette feature a 2-burner glass cook top, a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker with starter pack of coffee, toaster, cookware and dinnerware for four. The standard guest rooms feature a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

This hotel is situated directly on the beach, Lansberry stated, “Our guests love our oceanfront location. Guests just pack their beach bag, walk down a path, and access the beach. Not having to cross a busy street makes it much safer for everyone especially those traveling with children.”
