The leader in the data security industry has launched a new product, the NSA-approved T-4 40,000 Gauss Degausser, designed to demagnetize computer tape and computer hard drives with densities in excess of 3 Terabytes. This security-conscious product offers unbeatable physical data security to government organizations and businesses requiring top security erasure.

Data Devices International, a leader in the data security industry, has launched the new T-4 40,000 Gauss Degausser, the newest NSA-approved degausser for top-secret level data erasure specifically designed to completely demagnetize hard-to-erase computer hard drives and computer tape up to 13,000 Oersted. This is the newest and most powerful degausser available in its class.

"The T-4 Degausser has revolutionized secure electronic data disposal. Before, organizations had to move the media to the degausser. This posed a significant risk of exposure to data loss. The T-4 is lightweight enough to bring the degausser directly to your media," said David Partridge, President of Data Devices International. "Organizations can now consolidate their old hard drives and computer tape at various locations and simply ship the degausser to the on-site location. This is the most secure solution for maintaining a chain of control with your sensitive data before it's erased to NSA specification."

The T-4 40,000 Gauss Degausser is powerful enough to erase all current longitudinal and perpendicular computer hard drives with densities exceeding 3 Terabytes and up to 13,000 Oersted. This degausser is certified by the National Security Agency for electronic data erasure, and is compliant with Department of Defense specification for magnetic media erasure and disposal. The machine will quickly and easily erase any media that will fit into the 6" x 4" x 1" degaussing chamber.

The revolutionary new T-4 Degausser uses a new, patented Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) technology, which runs continuously and provides a very fast 60 second degaussing cycle. Simply slide the media slated for erasure into the feed opening, press the on button, and the media emerges from the output slide 60 seconds later completely degaussed. In addition, this technology is quiet and can be used directly on the office tabletop or floor. An optional hard shipping and transportation case is available to maximize portability. This unit is very simple to use and does not require any additional adapters.
