Diet-to-Go, a national leader in the creation and delivery of delicious, perfectly-portioned meals, is helping Philadelphia-area residents slim down and tone up by teaming up with 15 more Philadelphia-area gyms and fitness centers which will serve as fresh meal pick-up locations.

The new locations give Diet-to-Go 25-plus active Partners-in-Health throughout the Philadelphia metro region. With an additional 25 Partners-in-Health in the pipeline, Diet-to-Go expects to have close to 50 pick-up locations up and running by early 2011, making it even more convenient for those people resolving to lose weight and get in shape.

The signing of the newest premier fitness facilities, gyms and businesses lays the foundation for a New Year marketing blitz that will include TV commercials and print ads.

The newest Philly metro Diet-to-Go Partners-in-Health are:

Aquatic & Fitness Centers (3 locations)
Club la Maison, Wayne, PA
Future Fitness Clubs (4 locations)
Great Harvest Bread, Wayne, PA
Horsham Fitness Club, Horsham, PA
Level 1 Fitness, Philadelphia, PA
Motivation Fitness, Conshohocken, PA
Optimal Sport Health Club, Philadelphia, PA (2nd location)
Powerhouse Philly, Philadelphia, PA
Super Fitness, Swedesboro, NJ

“The Philadelphia metro market has been remarkably receptive – and we expect our fantastic growth spurt to continue well into 2011 and beyond,” says Diet-to-Go National Business Director Michele Trankovich.

“We're blanketing the city of Philadelphia and its immediate suburbs, but our future plans include forays into many more areas, including Bethlehem and Jenkintown. On the Jersey side, we are working to add partners in Cherry Hill, Mount Laurel, Voorhees and other towns.”

While Diet-to-Go, now in its 19th year of business, delivers its delicious, properly-portioned frozen meals to all locations in the United States, it works with Partners-in-Health in several major metropolitan areas to provide freshly prepared, never frozen food to its Customers. Most partners are premier fitness facilities; however, other businesses are welcome to join up for the program that has become a secondary source of income for its owners.

Tom Kalup, Diet-to-Go's Philadelphia metro region account executive, is already gearing up for what he anticipates will be a New Year's explosion of new business.

“I’m excited about the TV advertising we're planning and I know more people will be able to take advantage of Diet-to-Go, thanks to the new Partners-in-Health we've signed – and will sign,” Kalup says.

“Diet-to-Go has proven to be an added amenity for many Philly-area fitness facilities. It makes us feel good to know we're providing them a quick, simple tool to aid in getting Philly to become a more fit city.”

The other metro regions already established with Diet-to-Go's Partners-in-Health program are the Washington D.C./Baltimore/Northern Virginia, Oakland and the San Francisco Bay areas. Residents in those regions can go to the website to locate the closest pick-up location.

For the past two decades, Diet-to-Go has been crafting delicious meals for people too busy to cook and also those seeking help with weight loss. The three distinct menus – Low-Fat, Low-Carb and Vegetarian – were recently tweaked to remove even more sodium and to add more scrumptious meals into the mix.

Trankovich says educating people on how to eat healthier has always been a passion for her. “The problem is that most people just don't have the time to prepare balanced meals at home,” she notes.

“Diet-to-Go offers portion-controlled meals that give people the benefit of a gourmet chef and nutritionist at an affordable price. It feels really good to give the people in the Philadelphia area such an easy solution for eating healthy and losing weight.”

Diet-to-Go is fast becoming the No. 1 healthy meal delivery company in the Philly/NJ area. Businesses wanting to link up as a Partner-in-Health should contact Michele Trankovich at 800.704.7751 ext.1139, or via email: mtrankovich(at)diettogo(dot)com.
