Denver,CO (PRWEB) March 22, 2013
Members of Restoration Community Church will begin Easter week by serving lunch to the homeless and organizing an Easter Egg Hunt. The event on Saturday, March 23 begins at 11:00 a.m. Restoration Community Church in Denver (RCC) is providing and serving lunch to people who don't have a home to celebrate Easter.
RCC will partner with a non-profit appropriately named Restoration Outreach. They service homeless and near homeless people living in transitional situations. “We expect to have 200 people for lunch, a worship service, and egg hunt. It will be a fabulous opportunity for us to work together as a community and serve the greater community of Denver,” said Nanci Ricks Associate Pastor, Restoration Community Church. The event takes place at Restoration Outreach Ministries 1540 Boston St in Aurora.
This is RCC’s fourth year of providing and serving lunch to celebrate Easter. Restoration Community Church members say it is the perfect way to begin the week that honors the greatest servant of all time.
The Denver Easter celebration will include a Good Friday "Stations of the Cross" even on March 29, and 4 Easter Sunday services in Denver on March 30th.
