EBSCO Information Services and Infotrieve Partner to Bring EBSCO Discovery Service™ Searching to Mobile Library™ Platform
Ipswich, MA and Wilton, CN (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) and Infotrieve Inc. have partnered to allow mutual customers to combine their search, content access, rights management and document delivery in one platform. Customers will be able to use Infotrieve’s Mobile Library™ as their e-content access and management platform while using the powerful search and extensive metadata from EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The partnership provides a one-stop shop for research, content access, rights management and document delivery.
Mobile Library users will be able to search the expansive metadata available from EDS in addition to Infotrieve’s own catalog of more than 60 million citations. Content that is available to users through their company’s journal or database subscriptions and e-book holdings will be identified using Mobile Library’s rights management module. For content that is not available via an existing subscription, Mobile Library’s document delivery functionality will be used to instantly procure the content.
