In these challenging economic times, it benefits us all to develop new sales initiatives

Korg USA announces the launch of shop.korgusa.com, powered by Shopatron. This online marketplace provides a safe, reliable way for Korg USA to drive sales to its authorized dealer network through their own stores, via an innovative online system. The Shopatron program offers member retailers a way to generate Korg, Marshall and VOX product sales directly from visitors to shop.korgusa.com, as well as from the high volume of traffic through korg.com. To participate, dealers need only sign up for the free, no-risk membership at Shopatron.com. The only requirement is email access and a basic internet connection.

Starting immediately, consumers in the U.S. visiting korg.com, will also have access to a “Buy Now” option for Korg’s entire product line. By clicking “Buy Now” buttons, consumers will be directed to shop.korgusa.com, where they can safely and easily make a purchase 24/7.

When a Korg, Marshall or VOX online purchase is made, Shopatron immediately alerts enrolled dealer members of the order. Dealers who have the item in stock can indicate if they’d like to fulfill the order; the sale will be awarded to the one in closest proximity to the customer. Currently, stores will ship the products to the buyer. In the future, customers will also have the option of in-store pickup.

This particular business model benefits all involved: the customer can conveniently research and purchase Korg, Marshall or VOX products in a single operation, any time. For participating dealers, the site opens a new sales channel, driving sales of in-stock merchandise, increasing inventory turnover and ROI. Sign-up is free, and there is no need to upgrade individual store websites to handle online order taking.

Dealers can check for available sales at the time of day that is most convenient for them. There is no obligation to fulfill any set number of orders, nor will retailers be charged any monthly maintenance fees.

The program will also help each dealer to further build its local reputation as the go-to source for Korg USA products, via convenient ordering, fast shipping times and all the right products in stock. The opportunity exists to expand each store’s reach by not only servicing customers in its local area, but potentially beyond as well.

“In these challenging economic times, it benefits us all to develop new sales initiatives,” states Korg USA president, Joe Castronovo. “Increasing numbers of consumers are researching products online, and when the mood strikes to purchase that gear, we need to offer convenient fulfillment options. Shopatron.com is a proven business tool with an established track record to facilitate online ordering, while also keeping our sales network involved, letting them do what they do best.”
