All software, storage, and hardware is included to provide organizations with a fixed, budgeted expense when looking to contain growing eDiscovery costs

Mindseye, developers of the next-generation eDiscovery processing technology TunnelVision, today announced the availability of the TunnelVision eDiscovery Appliance, which combines leading eDiscovery software with on-board storage and state-of-the-art hardware as an all-in-one solution. The eDiscovery Appliance gives corporate counsel and law firms a comprehensive processing center that provides a streamlined workflow by replacing point and legacy systems, consolidates data in one location, and defensibly moves less but more relevant data into review.

“Our eDiscovery appliance fills a void in the industry today. There’s no other stand-alone solution that offers the full breadth of processing with the ability to also store data in one location,” said Mindseye CEO, Bob Krantz. “Not only is it more efficient, but our TunnelVision appliance delivers an all-inclusive solution with no hidden costs -- all software, storage, and hardware is included to provide organizations with a fixed, budgeted expense when looking to contain growing eDiscovery costs.”

Key features include:

  • Scalability: allows for virtual workers to be spun up without the need for additional hardware
  • Memory: 256 GBs of memory (scalable to 768 GBs)
  • Capacity: contains 16 TBs of high-speed storage
  • Rapid Processing: 1.3 TBs of data on import or export every 20 hours with as little as 10 virtual workers
  • Archiving: data can be archived from the appliance and transferred to another TunnelVision environment without the need to reprocess data
  • Portable: can be loaded into a pelican case and moved to wherever processing is taking place
  • Ease-of-Use: can be up and running in as little as two hours

Organizations can rapidly deploy the appliance for cross-border discovery or sensitive matters where data privacy or security is paramount. The system comes pre-configured with a TunnelVision Processing Engine (five to 20 workers), Decision Engine (early data intelligence™), and a Production Module, in addition to all required software.

The TunnelVision eDiscovery Appliance is available for purchase or can be leased for on-demand projects.
