Business Leader Media and Wake Tech Community College have announced the 2009 Business Champion Award winners. These are the Triangle's most innovative businesses that foster growth through extensive training programs, job creation and increased revenue. Element Customer Care was chosen as a winner for the 2009 Business Champion in the category, Business Technologies. Element Customer Care provides call center, tech support and CSG Systems billing solutions for cable, broadband and telecommunications operators.
The Business Champions Awards honor those companies in the Triangle who have distinguished themselves through workforce training and development initiatives. Winners were chosen based on employee growth and investment as well as demonstrated success in workforce training. Winners of the 2009 will be honored at a ceremony on March 18, 2009 at the Hilton North Raleigh and will be featured in the March 2009 issue of Business Leader magazine.

The Business Champion awards pay tribute to local organizations that enhance the Triangle's workforce by creating jobs and providing essential employee training. Companies are chosen in four categories: Health Sciences; Business Technologies; Computers and Engineering; and Applied Technologies. Winners are chosen from amongst hundreds of nominations submitted on behalf of candidates.
In October 2006, Element Customer Care was launched to provide quality customer support and cable billing services at a price that small and medium-sized cable companies could afford.
