It was very important to us that we choose the right partner to work with. I have every belief that our relationship with Embanet will bring ACU even greater success than we have already enjoyed
Toronto, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) January 2, 2008
Under the terms of the agreement, Toronto, Canada-based Embanet, a global leader in online education, will launch and manage all of the new programs on an ongoing basis, and will also manage ACU’s entire line-up of existing online programs.
“The scope of this partnership is unprecedented, and is a reflection of Abilene’s trust in Embanet’s proven ability to deliver the highest quality of e-learning available today in the higher education market,” said Rick Ness, President, Embanet ULC. “I believe that our open approach to sharing all the information ACU needed to make an informed decision was crucial to helping them choose Embanet as their partner. We are especially proud that ACU is entrusting us to support their existing successful programs.”
The decision to partner with Embanet was made after an extensive due diligence process.
“It was very important to us that we choose the right partner to work with. I have every belief that our relationship with Embanet will bring ACU even greater success than we have already enjoyed,” says Dr. Carol Williams, associate provost for distance education at Abilene Christian University.
The new programs will include a range graduate and undergraduate degrees in the faculties of Applied Studies, Education and Arts and Sciences.
