Responding to Customer Requests Drives EmLogis Further Ahead of Competition

Customers asked for it, and now EmLogis, a company specializing in easy to use employee scheduling software, has delivered; introducing EmLogis Schedule Sync. “We are so excited about this feature. It came directly from customer requests, and is quickly becoming one of the most talked about features in our suite,” says Chris Kiklas, Vice President of Services.

Schedule Sync exposes a unique, secret address for each employee scheduled through the EmLogis employee online scheduling system that employees can then use to connect their work schedules to other popular calendar tools such as Google Calendar, Yahoo! Calendar, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and Lotus Notes. Once EmLogis is linked to one of these other calendaring systems, the connection is live and updated frequently, so the employee’s schedule is up to date no matter what they use for a calendar. “That is just the beginning of the possibilities however,” says Mark Kirkland, Vice President of Product Management. “Imagine the possibilities. A family trying to create a family calendar can easily plug the employee’s calendar into the family calendar. No more trying to remember when mom or dad will be at work, no more trying to keep up with changes, everything about the employee’s schedule is always up to date and current.”

This is just one more step in EmLogis’ philosophy to integrate social networking capabilities for its users in its labor scheduling products. “While we met the requests of our customers, we discovered a lot through the implementation process that has given us many more ideas for this syncing functionality,” says Les Amidei, Chief Executive Office, “Our end goal is to make sure that we allow companies to reach their employees wherever they are and on whatever device or medium their employees want to use.”
