Equiscript Adds Katrina Jamison as Senior Director of Operations

North Charleston-based pharmacy services company adds former Wal-Mart executive to its leadership team.

North Charleston-based pharmacy services management company Equiscript, LLC has added Katrina Jamison, PharmD to its leadership team.

Jamison joined Equiscript Monday, July 23 in a pivotal role that will help guide the company’s strategy in terms of patient and pharmacy relations and operations. Jamison has an impressive career in pharmacy management, including 12 years at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., where she most recently supported operations of the 4,500 Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies and 2,500 vision centers in her role as Senior Director of Health & Wellness Operations Communication and Support.

Jamison is an experienced senior level executive, licensed healthcare professional, and inspirational leader with over ten years of success overseeing large-scale multi-unit operations. She graduated from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, with her PharmD, where she currently sits on the Pharmacy Alumni Association Board. She is a licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Arkansas, she is a Lean Six Sigma White Belt and a Certified Executive Life Coach.

Equiscript was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the second year in a row and has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the past three years.
