Tom Salonek, Intertech Founder and CEO, was named a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 program in the Upper Midwest. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Tom Salonek was selected from a strong pool of nominations by a panel of independent judges. Awards will be presented at a special gala on June 13, 2013 at the Marriott City Center hotel in Minneapolis, MN.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur Of The Year Program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2013. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.

Tom Salonek is the founder and CEO of Intertech, a Minnesota-based technology consulting and training firm. In 2005, he was named one of Minnesota’s Top Business Leaders under 40.
