DeSilva, formerly of Sotheby’s International Realty, takes on new position to support U.S. market development efforts for the premium luxury real estate brand

Anthony Hitt, COO of the global luxury real estate firm, Engel & Völkers U.S., today announced the promotion of Jill DeSilva from Senior Relationship Manager to Vice President of Brand Advancement, expanding the level of support, services and expertise to brokerages as the company continues to enter new U.S. markets.

"Jill has proven herself to be the ideal candidate for this position which will be critical in maintaining the integrity of this global brand as our reputation and recognition continues to grow,” said Hitt. “Her comprehensive knowledge of the Engel & Völkers organization, marketing expertise and personal dedication to raising the standard of service in the real estate industry will be a guiding force and a true asset to our operations.”

In her prior role as Engel & Völkers’ Senior Relationship Manager, DeSilva served as liaison between the U.S. corporate offices and real estate offices nationwide, providing branding guidance and operational support. She also managed regional and national marketing efforts as the U.S. representative for international marketing and advertising campaigns, and was project manager for new initiatives.

DeSilva joined Engel & Völkers in 2009 from Sotheby’s International Realty in Westchester, New York, where she was Vice President and Director of Marketing. While at Sotheby’s International Realty, she coordinated marketing activities between local and corporate offices, planned networking events and training courses and consulted on new real estate technologies and marketing strategy.

In her new role as Vice President Brand Advancement, DeSilva will be ensuring the consistency and quality of every aspect of the Engel & Völkers brand features from shop design; to marketing collateral; advertising campaigns; web, mobile and digital activities; and will play a critical role in the development of new Engel & Völkers products and services.
