Fertility Specialist -- Dr. Brooke Friedman -- Joins Reproductive Partners-UC San Diego
La Jolla, CA (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Fertility specialist Dr. Brooke Friedman has joined Reproductive Partners-UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center in La Jolla. The center specializes in advanced In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) services and is recognized internationally for its advanced techniques, high success rates and pioneering work in reproductive science.
In addition to her new role at Reproductive Partners, Dr. Friedman was recently appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of California San Diego. She is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Friedman graduated from Princeton University, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and earned her M.D. from the University of California San Francisco Medical School. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University.

At Stanford, Dr. Friedman was the recipient of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons award for her outstanding surgical skills. Dr. Friedman has performed hundreds of egg retrievals and hysteroscopies.

Dr. Friedman’s current research centers on non-invasive time-lapse imaging of human embryonic development, a promising and groundbreaking technique that may allow fertility experts to successfully select the best embryos for transfer in a non-invasive manner.
Reproductive Partners-UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center is one of the top fertility centers in the nation and has a history of providing cutting edge care to patients. Last year, two of its patients were the first in the region to give birth to babies using a new egg preservation technique known as vitrification or “flash freezing.”
