The accident is reported to have occurred near Back Beach Road and Beth Avenue, and NBC reports that neither the motorcycle driver nor his passenger—reportedly his wife—was wearing a helmet. Nadrich also notes that this particular case is still under investigation. “We don't know exactly what happened, and it's unfair to assume who's at fault. According to the NBC report, the accident occurred last Saturday night at approximately 8:00 p.m. The wife was reportedly not injured, but the driver was taken to Bay Medical Hospital with undisclosed critical injuries. His current condition is not known. Investigators have reportedly questioned the driver and passenger of the Volkswagen and asked several nearby witnesses to provide information for the ongoing investigation.
