Forty feet of chocolate to visit Ronald McDonald House August 2 in Los Angeles

RAM Racing, the founders of “America’s Sweetest Race”, will bring more than 40 feet of chocolate to surprise the families of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House on Friday, August 2.

In celebration of the inaugural Frozen Hot Chocolate 10/5K, representatives from RAM Racing will bring 40 feet of chocolate in the form of a “Will Run For Chocolate” RV to the Ronald McDonald House to promote and raise awareness of the Ronald McDonald House’s mission. Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House is the official charity benefitting from the Frozen Hot Chocolate 10/5K, which kicks off on September 21 in Grand Park.

The event is open to the public and will feature the tasty treats, including chocolate fondue with marshmellows and pretzels, and race day swag that has made “America’s Sweetest Race” famous.

Registration for the Frozen Hot Chocolate 10/5K is currently open at http://www.hotchocolate15k.com. On September 21, participants will walk or run either a 10K (6.2 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles) distance and then partake in a post-race party featuring proprietary gourmet chocolate, music and dancing.

The Hot Chocolate 15/10/5K race series debuted in 2008 in Chicago, and has rapidly expanded to 12 cities and an estimated 150,000 participants expected during the 2013-2014 race season.
