Frontpoint Partners with BritePaths to Create Food Security for Fairfax County Schoolchildren
Vienna, Virginia (PRWEB) November 23, 2016 -- Frontpoint, a nationwide leader in wireless home security and home automation, is pleased to announce that its employees contributed more than $1,500 in support of the BritePaths Food4Thought program.
Roughly 52,000 children in Fairfax County are food insecure – that means they do not know where they will get their next meal. Frontpoint hosted a food drive in the spirit of its special Core Values Week to benefit children at Marshall Road Elementary School in Fairfax County Virginia.

Individually donated items coupled with items purchased using donations resulted in 4,500 food items gathered during the week. In total, Frontpoint organized and delivered 425 packs of individually sized, non-perishable food items for children in need. In addition to the items donated and purchased, Frontpoint provided five boxes of food items as supplemental food donations.
Roughly 10% of the school’s population relies on donated food bags, and because of the efforts, Marshall Road Elementary anticipates being able to sustain an additional 10 children to the Food4Thought program, supported by BritePaths.
BritePaths provides Fairfax County area neighbors in need with short-term safety-net services and empowers them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency.
