Dental laboratories using digital scan and design software from 3Shape, Dental Wings, Exocad and Delcam can now transmit digital scans or create their own abutment designs for the production of Inclusive Custom Implant Abutments.

Glidewell Laboratories, industry-leading provider of dental lab products and services, announced today that dental laboratories that use digital scan and design software from 3Shape, Dental Wings, Exocad and Delcam can now transmit digital scan files for the production of Inclusive® Custom Implant Abutments. For even greater savings and control, dental labs that have abutment design capability can create their own customized abutment designs using Glidewell’s Inclusive Custom Implant Abutment libraries, reducing costs up to 30 percent.

Inclusive Custom Implant Abutments, available in zirconia and titanium, are priced at $129 per abutment from a digital scan file. Labs who create their abutment designs in-house save $30 per abutment using the Inclusive Abutment libraries and pay only $99 per abutment for most implant platforms. The Inclusive Abutment libraries support popular implant systems from leading manufacturers including Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Biomet 3i, Astra Tech, Neoss, PrimaConnex and Zimmer.
