Goodman Acker, P.C. Named ‘2017 Cool Places To Work’ in Michigan by Crain's Detroit Business
Southfield, MI (PRWEB) October 16, 2017 -- Goodman Acker, P.C. is proud to say they have been chosen for the second year in a row as one of the ‘2017 Cool Places to Work’ in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business and Best Companies Group.
Crain’s Detroit Business designed this program to recognize the top 100 companies in Michigan that go the extra mile to make sure their employees feel appreciated.
This is the 5th year Crain’s has recognized the state’s coolest places to work. Companies throughout the state with at least 15 employees entered the two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace benefits and policies. Next, the employees completed a confidential 80 question survey about workplace culture, company leadership, as well as, other aspects of work.
This award is unique because 75 percent of the final ranking is based on whether employees understand the long-term strategy of the company and whether they feel they are being groomed for leadership positions in the future, among other criteria.
Goodman Acker, P.C. stands out and above many other companies in Michigan based on their employee recognition, wellness perks, and charities they support. Goodman Acker, P.C. ranked 26 out of 100 companies. Only three law firms were selected, and Goodman Acker, P.C. was the highest ranked.
