Granite State Growler Tours Adds New Portsmouth Beer Stop, WHYM Craft Beer Cafe
Portsmouth, NH (PRWEB) September 28, 2013 -- Granite State Growler Tours, the exclusive Seacoast craft beer bus tour, has added a new stop and partnership to its evolving itinerary with WHYM Craft Beer Café.
Since April of this year, Granite State Growler Tours has taken guests along for a foamy beer journey along New Hampshire’s Seacoast each weekend. Stops are made for craft brewery tours and specialty beer tastings from Hampton to Portsmouth. Already the tour has proven enormously popular with locals and tourists alike, and was the proud recipient of New Hampshire Magazine’s “Best of 2013” award.
Now, as the craft beer culture continues to grow and expand in the region, so has the variety of beer destinations on Granite State Growler tours, with the addition of WHYM Craft Beer Café, in Portsmouth.
“Already we’ve had a tremendous response from our guests who have been to WHYM,” Says tour founder and owner David Adams. “They love it there, and one would be hard pressed to find anyone who knows more about beer and how to appreciate it than Alex Aviles.”
Aviles is the owner and operator of WHYM, and shares enlightening information from his seemingly unlimited knowledge of the craft with patrons.
“We are excited to be working with Granite State Growler tours because their business model aligns well with ours, good products and good people,” Aviles says.
WHYM – which is an acronym for Wheat, Hops, Yeast and Malt, four key ingredients in beer – opened in May of this year, serving an exquisite dining menu along with a fine craft beer selection from around the world, making it a perfect fit for a partnership with Granite State Growler Tours.
“Granite State Growler Tours is an avenue for those new or familiar with craft beer to experience the great small artisans the seacoast has to offer,” Aviles adds. “Both of our businesses support this community so it makes sense to work in unison to give the best experience.
While Granite State Growler Tours focuses primarily on small craft breweries and distilleries for tours and tastings, WHYM is a small step away from the usual stop, with positive results and a perfect fit.
“Much like most of our local breweries, WHYM does not just ‘have craft beer.’ We are a place that gives a ‘craft beer experience,’” explains Aviles. “This means a knowledgeable staff, who gives as close to a brewery experience as you can get in a restaurant atmosphere. WHYM not only has a line up of the best local breweries, we also have a ‘Long Distance Relationship’ lineup of worldly beers…as well as a bottle and can offering that is not to be ignored.”
WHYM is located at 3548 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth New Hampshire. For more information visit them online at facebook.com/whymcraftbeer, or call 603.501.0478
Granite State Tours operate every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with additional private group tours and special events any day of the week to host the perfect birthday party, bachelor or bachelorette party, and corporate events, even picking up and dropping off at specifically requested locations.
