WASHINGTON (PRWEB) November 26, 2018
Laura Foote Reiff and Martha J. Schoonover, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Northern Virginia office, were again listed in Washingtonian magazine’s 2018 “Top Lawyers” list. They are recognized in the magazine for their immigration work and will be featured in the Dec. 2018 issue.
According to the Washingtonian, this biennial list features approximately 700 attorneys across 21 practice areas. The list is compiled through research and nominations vetted by the publication’s editorial staff.
“We are proud to announce that Laura and Martha have again been ranked amongst the finest attorneys in the Washington, D.C. area by Washingtonian magazine,” said Michael R. Sklaire, Northern Virginia office co-managing shareholder. “This accolade is a testament to their hard work as solution-oriented immigration law practitioners, who understand the needs of their clients.”
Reiff, co-chair of the Immigration & Compliance Practice, focuses her practice on business immigration laws and regulations affecting U.S. and foreign companies, as well as related employment compliance and legislative issues. She advises corporations on a variety of compliance-related issues, particularly related to Form I-9 eligibility employment verification matters. Reiff has been named to the Washingtonian’s Top Lawyers list since 2013.
Schoonover focuses her practice on business immigration matters and assists employers in obtaining temporary, nonimmigrant visas for business persons, managers and executives, treaty investors and traders, professionals (including researchers and scientists, engineers, computer professionals, and business professionals), exchange visitors, students, and crew members working on the Outer Continental Shelf. She has been named to the Washingtonian’s Top Lawyers list since 2009.
