LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) November 23, 2020
On November 18, 2020, seven former employees of Hyperion Motors filed suit against the company and its chief executive in Orange County Superior Court.
Hyperion Motors, Inc. claims to “deliver cutting edge space technology pioneered by NASA, to the world” by “revolutioniz[ing] the transportation industry by offering convenient, high-quality, low-cost hydrogen fuel across America.”
The lawsuit alleges that Hyperion’s workplace was rife with sexual harassment and gender discrimination; fraudulent and illegal activities; wage theft, employee misclassification, unsafe working conditions, and other abuse and exploitation of its workers. The lawsuit further alleges that Hyperion wrongfully terminated the plaintiffs when they dared to complain and object to Hyperion’s misconduct.
The case is Perez, et al. v. Hyperion Motors, Inc., et al., Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2020-01170764-CU-WT-CJC.
