UK-based Jeweller, Ian Rosenberg, has appointed a new Business Development Manager to oversee its expansion into new territories both home and abroad.
Susanne Raymond brings over 25 years of international fashion marketing to the jewellery firm, having managed several high profile expansions into European and Asian fashion markets in the past.
Ian Rosenberg Jewellery has enjoyed rapid expansion over recent months and the move to bring on a dedicated manager has allowed Ian to concentrate more on his passion for jewellery design and work with his son Kevin.
Ian said: “We are delighted to be bringing Susanne Raymond into the Rosenberg family business. With her she brings, not only a wealth of experience and an international contacts book second to none, but a reputation in markets into which we have yet to branch.
“To have a name as reputable as Susanne onboard is a great bonus for us and I’m confident she shares our vision of what Rosenberg Jewellery could, and should, be in the future.
The jewellery firm recently expanded its operations to a new store in Mumbai, India and it is hoped that Raymond’s savvy in the Asian and European markets will help the company to grow naturally and maintain the quality for which it is renowned.
Susanne said: “I’m extremely proud to join such a famous brand. My work over the last few years has included both successful small start-ups and global expansions. I aim to use these experiences in order maximise growth in the new markets while maintaining the family traditions of the company.”
New proposals for expansion include Russia, the Czech Republic and Poland markets while work is already underway to locate potential sites for a second Mumbai store.
The jewellers have also recently announced several new ranges including collaboration with Kevin Rosenberg, Ian’s son, who works primarily from his base in Milan.
