Institute for Operational Excellence Founder Kevin Duggan to Present at Co-Located Manufacturing MD&M Chicago and Quality Expo

At 1 p.m. on day two of the event, Duggan will speak during the Best Practices in Manufacturing track on the topic “Streamlining your Manufacturing Practices.” He will present a case study featuring IDEX Corporation’s Health and Science business segment and the process it used to achieve Operational Excellence to deliver both operational and business results, including lead-time reduction, reduced inventory, increased on-time delivery, and 12% organic overall growth.
At Quality Expo, which will feature solutions to tackle the most costly quality issues throughout the entire product development process, Duggan will lead off the Lean and Six Sigma Masterclass track at 9 a.m. with a session titled “Lean into Operational Excellence: How to Grow Your Business While Improving Quality and Reducing Cost.” During his presentation, Duggan will discuss how companies can advance their lean and six sigma programs beyond current practice by adopting a short-term methodology that leverages the eight principles of Operational Excellence.
