InventHelp® Introduces a Device for Safe Needle Disposal Invented by a Physician (FED-1210)

He developed the NERD to permit the no-touch technique for temporarily holding sharp medical contaminated or non-contaminated needles or the cap (cover) of such a needle. The device allows a needle to be re-capped or disposed of as such. This prevents the accidental puncture of fingers of the medical provider by such needles. The design allows direct disposal of vials and ampoules into a sharps container. Additionally, it is designed to enhance personal safety and offer added peace of mind, and it features a disposable, one-time-use design.
