Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Garment for Chemotherapy Patients (NJD-874)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) August 19, 2016 -- "When undergoing chemotherapy, patients are forced to remove their shirts so that medical personnel can hook up the ports," said an inventor from South Hackensack, N.J. "I thought that there had to be a way for patients to avoid having to take off their clothing to receive chemotherapy."
She developed the ICANCERvive to make it easier for medical personnel to access ports. The design saves the patient from having to remove his or her clothing in order to receive chemotherapy. The accessory ensures that the wearer remains warm and comfortable while receiving treatment. It enhances patient privacy and saves the patient from potential embarrassment. Furthermore, it is producible in different sizes, colors and designs.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
