Jaman Networks, a leading supplier of turn-key platforms for premium movies and online video, and TLA Releasing, the internationally renowned leader in gay and lesbian cinema, have partnered to launch an official channel on ROKU, the market leader in streaming entertainment devices to the TV.

The channel, serviced by Jaman Networks, will provide seamless access instantly to hundreds of titles including TLA’s renowned catalogue, TLA Releasing, directly to the television set. Viewers will be able to browse and select from TLA’s premier library, featuring internationally-acclaimed titles such as Latter Days starring Steve Sandvoss (RumorHas It), Wes Ramsey (“The Event”), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer), Ma Mère starring Isabelle Hupert as well as national theatrical releases and film festival favorites like Another Gay Movie, Is it Just Me? and BearCity. TLA Releasing’s extensive award-winning films such as Teddy Award recipients from the Berlin Film Festival (The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros, Raging Sun, Raging Sky), Outfest’s Best Screenplay and Best Actor winner BearCity and the New Director/New Film series selection Epitaph are helping to open up a new world of content to Roku owners.

“We’re in the business of empowering content owners to leap onto an array of devices so that their libraries are accessible anytime, anywhere. We’re thrilled to be able to provide our services to TLA in their efforts to increase brand awareness and further their bottom line,” said Dan Graham, General Manager, Jaman Networks.

With the amount of content being offered on TLA’s various portals, ROKU viewers will experience quality entertainment spanning a variety of genres focusing primarily on TLA’s library of award-winning Gay & Lesbian cinema, but also including international festival favorites and selections from TLA’s independent and international horror label, Danger After Dark.

“We are excited to team up with Jaman on this project. I have admired Jaman’s model and commitment to independent cinema since their first days on the internet. ROKU is not only an excellent set-top delivery platform, but by making their SDK public, I think they will gain wide adoption quickly.” said, Eric Moore, TLA Entertainment Group Partner & Chief Technology Officer
