Transitioning to a four-year degree program requires that students submit additional information and credentials. This is becoming a greater burden to our staff. The Jenzabar CRMs are a perfect fit to help us integrate many of these additional demands.
Boston, MA (Vocus) November 17, 2010
Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, announced today that Daytona State College has chosen Jenzabar Constituent Relationship Modules (CRMs) to help continue the institution’s transition to a four-year degree program. The college will utilize Jenzabar CRMs to streamline the student web experience and enhance online capabilities for students, faculty and staff.
Daytona State College, formerly Daytona Beach Community College, recently added four-year bachelor programs to its curriculum, enabling a student to complete a two-year associates degree and then apply for a four-year degree. The college was seeking CRM solutions to streamline operations and deliver advanced online self-service features to better engage students, faculty, and staff across campus. Integrated seamlessly with the institution’s administrative system, Jenzabar CX, and portal, Jenzabar’s Internet Campus Solution, Jenzabar CRMs including Student, Faculty, Admissions Officer, and Candidate will give students and faculty additional online capabilities and enable staff to implement greater efficiencies within departments.
“Transitioning to a four-year degree program requires that students submit additional information and credentials. This is becoming a greater burden to our staff,” said Roberto Lombardo, Associate Vice President and CIO at Daytona State College. “The Jenzabar CRMs are a perfect fit to help us integrate many of these additional demands.”
Jenzabar Constituent Relationship Modules provide tight integration between Jenzabar’s Internet portal and Jenzabar’s ERP systems. The full suite of CRMs deliver extended user-specific functionality to all constituents, from applicants to alumni, and provide tools to access, track, and manage information 24x7. The modules also provide the ability to capture vital constituent information at the point of contact.
“Jenzabar’s Internet portal has proven to help unify our students’ access to online services,” said Lombardo. “Daytona State College believes that by expanding Jenzabar functionality with CRMs, staff will have less “touch points”, and departments across the institution will simplify processes. For instance, staff will be able to process more students during the admissions process.”
Daytona State plans to better align the institution’s current ERP with future Billing and Financial Aid rewrites. Additionally, the college will continue to look into additional Jenzabar CRMs to help support greater efficiency and capabilities for all its constituents.
“Jenzabar CRMs will help Daytona State College reduce student wait times, particularly as it continues to add four-year programs,” said Robert A. Maginn, Jr., Jenzabar Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “The tight integration between the CRMs and student information system will help the college revamp current processes and procedures and expand services for the college.”
