Today, Jiffy Lube® service centers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties on the Central Coast of California, the Spokane and Tri-Cities are of Washington and the State of Montana, announce their participation in the company's second year of the Maintenance Partners for Life campaign to support the American Heart Association's® Go Red For Women movement. Heart disease is the nation's number one killer of women and men, and Jiffy Lube is committed to raising more than $1.5 million to help stamp out the disease.
Research shows many people are unaware of threats to their heart health and vehicle health. Cardiovascular disease kills approximately 460,000 women per year, averaging one woman per minute and according to the Car Care Council, eight out of ten vehicles fails at least one part of the inspection process. The Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life campaign stresses the importance of being vigilant about heart health and vehicle health, and educates people about smart, preventive maintenance of their bodies and vehicles. Customers will receive valuable information on keeping both their body and vehicle "engines" performing at their best.

Beginning January 28, local Jiffy Lube service centers will promote heart health awareness with special events including a "Red Dress Day," Lube-a-Thon, and a kick-off event! Customers can participate in the fundraising campaign by donating $3 to Go Red For Women and in return will receive a Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life savings book worth $100 in vehicle preventive maintenance savings. The book features recipes for healthy meals and tips for living a healthier lifestyle.
