Karen Bostick, Creator and CEO of PetsPage and Tinks Mingle with Thousands of New Furry Pet Friends at Boise, Idaho’s Annual Fundraiser “See Spot Walk”
Boise, Idaho (PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- Karen Bostick, creator and CEO of PetsPage and her little Maltipoo, Tinks, the face of PetsPage.com, sponsored Boise, Idaho’s “See Spot Walk,” an annual fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Bostick and Tinks were there to promote PetsPage.com as “A Place for the Social Pet” and her mission of increasing pet owner awareness of veterinary specialty medicine, which can quite literally save pets’ lives through advanced veterinary care to Boise area pet lovers.
Bostick and Tinks met thousands of new furry friends in the form of dogs in every size, shape and breed at See Spot Walk while handing out PetsPage promotional items and signing up hundreds of members for PetsPage.com’s social pet community. New members were also entered into a PetsPage sponsored contest for a free Pet Play & Wellness Kit and a gift certificate for $25 at Tinks Shop, PetsPage.com’s brand new online pet store. Bostick reports that Boise area pet lovers were captivated by Tinks’ Story, and fascinated that they had a social pet community to share their pet photos, stories and videos in PetsPage.com.
“I am thrilled at the success of See Spot Walk and how well PetsPage and our pet advocacy mission of increasing pet owner awareness of veterinary specialty medicine was received. I am also excited we were able to sign up hundreds of pet owners as new PetsPage.com members while supporting our local Idaho Humane Society. I can’t wait to do it again next year!” said Bostick.
See Spot Walk is an annual fundraising event for the Idaho Humane Society and is Idaho’s largest canine event attracting over 3000 pets and their owners every year. The event features the 1-plus mile fun walk, Mutt Strut, demonstrations, vendors, dog contests and food.
