Bryant Lawn and Sprinkler Investigate Micro Zones for Sprinkler Systems

Share Article

Sprinkler systems are an investment that requires research, and Bryant Lawn and Sprinkler would like to help customers getting ready to install them for summer.

As spring arrives, many homeowners begin making plans for their yards and gardens many times, including a newly installed sprinkler system. Bryant Lawn and Sprinkler would like to educate customers on the most effective and efficient ways to set up a sprinkler system at their home or business, paying attention to micro zones.

When designing a sprinkler system, it is important to install zones where sun and shade cover are similar. This means that if a lawn has a large tree that provides shade over a large part of the yard and the other areas are full sun, it is best to separate the shade and sunny areas by zones. This is very important because typically a shady area requires much less water than full sun areas. This allows the customer to better manage water usage and not over water the shaded areas to meet the needs of the sunny areas. This is definitely an upgrade and it is more expensive to do so, however the water that is not wasted can offset the extra cost.

For customers interested in new sprinkler systems, Bryant Lawn and Sprinkler can help answer all of their questions, as well as provide estimates. Please call 817-926-5296 for more information. Or check out out website,
