We believe that BuildingOS will have a similar impact on the energy management space as Building Dashboard has had on occupant engagement.

At this year’s Greenbuild Conference & Expo in San Francisco, Lucid, pioneer of real-time resource use feedback technology for commercial buildings, will preview BuildingOS™, a platform for managing energy and water resources in commercial buildings and across real estate portfolios.

During the Expo in booth 5428W, Lucid staff will be providing a first look at BuildingOS, which is designed to revolutionize energy management in buildings. Greenbuild attendees will be able to sign up for access to the new product when it is released to the public, early in 2013.

“After hearing feedback from customers and watching trends in the market, and with major positive changes to the building automation and meter industries, BuildingOS comes at a perfect time to help transform the energy management sector,” said Michael Murray, CEO of Lucid. “Lucid has been hard at work with this new product, and we are now looking forward to getting BuildingOS in the hands of customers. We believe that BuildingOS will have a similar impact on the energy management space as Building Dashboard® has had on occupant engagement.”

Michael Murray will be talking about BuildingOS and trends in building energy and resource data at the VERGE conference, on a panel discussing “Platforms for Accelerating Energy Efficiency.” He will be joined by other leaders in the industry, including IBM, First Fuel, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
