We're excited about Ask the Expert because it enables our users to get answers to the questions that matter to them
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) September 25, 2008
Manta.com, the Internet's largest business research site with more than 57 million company profiles targeting small and midsize companies has launched Ask the Expert, a question and answer section and the latest addition to Manta's ever-growing list of first-rate business tools.
Ask the Expert will allow Manta users to submit sales-related questions within the Sales Expertise center, a new Manta.com portal designed specifically for sales professionals. Loaded with sales tips, videos and other resources, the Sales Expertise center caters to sales professionals of all levels. The Ask the Expert feature is a key asset to the new center, allowing users to get customized, targeted responses from industry experts (initially featuring Dale Carnegie Training).
"There are many sales and business development users on Manta who will benefit directly from the specific capabilities of this feature," says Pamela Springer, president and CEO of ECNext, the company behind Manta.com. "It's an opportunity for anyone who has ever been faced with a tough sales question or dilemma."
In addition to asking questions, Manta users also will be able to comment on the questions and answers, allowing them to contribute any relevant feedback on a given topic.
"The addition of Ask the Expert is one of several new features slated to debut on Manta in the coming months. As we continue to refine the site, we're committed to adding more community-based functionality," says Springer.
With more than 8 million visits a month, Manta.com is one of the 10 most-visited business sites on the Internet. Sales professionals make up a large portion of these visitors, often seeking company information to aide in their development of sales lead lists.
"We're excited about Ask the Expert because it enables our users to get answers to the questions that matter to them," adds Springer. "And the answers are timely, thoughtful, and action-oriented--perfect for sales professionals."
