Mark Media Adds All-Star Video Game Writing Team to Shuyan the Kung-Fu Princess

Toronto (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- Toronto-based film, television and digital media producer Mark Media is pleased to welcome experienced writers Chris l’Étoile, Dana Kurtin and Alexander Freed to the Creative team for upcoming episodic action-adventure game, Shuyan the Kung-Fu Princess. With a wealth of professional experience, including work for Bioware, DC Comics and Sony Online Entertainment, the writers will bring strong industry expertise to the story and characters of the game.

Previous titles amongst the writers’ credits include: Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, DC Universe Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

The new members to the Creative team follow the recent addition of renowned Chinese comic artist Daxiong Guo, who will oversee the game’s comic art. Known as “the king of Chinese comics”, Mr. Guo has also designed and drawn for DC Comics, WildStorm and Dark Horse Comics on acclaimed titles such as Justice League, Star Wars and Top 10.

Shuyan the Kung Fu Princess
Inspired by the culture and history of Ancient China, Shuyan the Kung Fu Princess is an episodic narrative action game starring a strong-willed princess on a quest to master her fighting skills and save her kingdom from destruction. Packed with stylish comic visuals, dynamic branching storytelling and authentic martial arts combat, the game is an epic adventure that challenges players to find the true meaning of kung fu and learn to fight without fighting. Shuyan comes to iPhone and iPad in Autumn 2015.
