Matrox Video Wall Products to be Featured in the Matrox and Mitsubishi Booths at InfoComm MEA 2015
Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- At InfoComm MEA 2015 (Dubai, Oct. 19–22, booth TA-D31) Matrox® Graphics Inc. will present an interactive demonstration using the new Matrox Mura™ IPX Series 4K capture and IP encode/decode boards to capture baseband and IP sources as Mura MPX video wall processor cards power a 2x2 video wall installation.
Sources include Matrox Maevex™ H.264 encoders and decoders as well as IP camera streams. Mura IPX will also encode the outputs in the same controller system, then, in a separate appliance, decode them for display on a single Matrox C680-powered 4K monitor, illustrating the ability to stream and monitor (or record) an entire video wall anywhere on the network. In addition, Mura IPX will simultaneously encode a Full HD stream to a remote Maevex decoder to highlight a 1920x1080p video wall region of interest. The unprecedented stream density and low-bitrate, high-quality 4K H.264 encoding and decoding from a single Mura IPX card let OEMs and AV system builders create advanced video wall controllers.
In the Mitsubishi Electric booth (TA-A15), Matrox Mura MPX capture and display boards will be used within a Mitsubishi video wall controller alongside Mitsubishi’s latest D-Wall 6.2 software. Visitors will have the chance to see how a high-density, low-footprint controller based on Matrox Mura technology can be used to display multiple inputs across multiple outputs with exceptional-quality scaling.

InfoComm University Seminar
“4K—It's Just Full HD with More Pixels, Right?” will be the topic of a seminar presented by Rob Moodey, sales account manager, Matrox Graphics on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 11:30 ~ 12:30 in Room 1. This session will help AV professionals understand when to recommend 4K rather than other resolutions, all the differences between 4K and HD, and how to show 4K imagery when equipment is not actually 4K compatible. Examples will be drawn from the technologies of source devices, signal distribution and display devices as they apply to a viewer’s experience.
