McNett to Sponsor 10 Local Veterans with All-Inclusive Weekend of Hunting, Fishing and Great Food

Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- McNett® Corporation is pleased to announce title sponsorship of the 3rd annual Hunting with Heroes weekend. To help kick off the event, McNett will be sponsoring 10 additional local Veterans from Skagit and Whatcom Counties.

“We’ve been a proud sponsor of Hunting with Heroes since the event first started back in 2011,” said Travis Huisman, Chief Executive Officer. “This year, we’re going all out with a title sponsorship. In addition, we’re sending 10 extra Veterans from our local community for an incredible weekend of fun.”

Hunting with Heroes is an annual event featuring pheasant hunting, steelhead and trout fishing and other great outdoors activities exclusively for Veterans. Participants are treated to an executive level outdoor experience, free concerts, amazing BBQ and guided hunting and fishing excursions. This year’s event kicks off Friday, October 11 and ends Monday, October 15 in Klickitat, Wash.

“Many of our Veterans have never been thanked for their service to this great Nation,” said Huisman. “This is our way of saying thanks and giving back to our local Vets. I’m confident this is one weekend our Veterans will not soon forget.”

McNett will provide food, accommodations, travel and gear for the entire weekend. All Veterans and active-duty service members are eligible for sponsorship.
