Microsoft Announces the Retirement of InfoPath and Organizations Face Decisions How to Move Forward with Forms
Oak Ridge, NJ (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- What to do about InfoPath now? Microsoft recently announced that they had plans to officially retire InfoPath 2013 after this version. Without officially citing what the new replacement technology will be for InfoPath, Microsoft has indicated they are going to expand SharePoint, Access, and Word form technology. More information will be provided at the annual SharePoint conference this March in Las Vegas. While Microsoft is still maintaining support of InfoPath 2013 until 2023, this leaves organizations with many decisions to make about how they are moving forward with forms in the future.

Either way, doing so will enable organizations to be more agile such that they are not waiting for Microsoft to provide the InfoPath migration and replacement technology. Companies can instead begin leveraging stable solutions that are known at present time to have a migration path into the next the version.”
