MilitaryRecord.Org to Teach People How to Review Their Public Armed Services Records
Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 04, 2014 -- MilitaryRecord.org will soon launch a guide that will make it easier for consumers to review the public military records they have purchased, the company announced yesterday.
“We provide people with a lot of information in our armed service members background reports,” a MilitaryRecord.org spokesman said. “But consumers won't get the best value out of our reports if they don't know how to review them correctly. Much of the information is written in military jargon that may be difficult for the average civilian to review. We want to make that easier.”
The guide will take people through each section of the report and tell them which parts they should review the most closely, he said.
“Many people will want to jump right to the list of medals when they get the report,” he said. “But in many cases, that may not be the most important thing to review. Discharge status, for example, often says a good deal more about someone's military service than if they got a Purple Heart.”
MilitaryRecord.org got the idea to create the guide from their customer service staff, he said.
“They told us that one of the most common questions they were getting online and over the phone was about which parts of the reports were the most important to review,” he said. “We realized that is a question we could easily respond to with a comprehensive guide.”
