CERRITOS, Calif., Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Ming-Swang Lok is a board certified Oncologist that brings over 35 years of Medical Experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.
Dr. Lok completed his Undergraduate and Medical Education at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. He completed his rotating internship at Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, Ohio and his residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Thereafter, he went to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and fellowed in Hematology and then fellowed in Medical Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Lok has participated in many research projects, but his main research interests included: Cancer Cell Lines, Cancer Immunology, Cancer DNA Vaccines and DNA Recombination and Genetic Engineering. He is interested in computerized medicine and medical education.
He has many publications, has had several academic appointments and has been apart of the Life member of Society of Chinese Bioscientists in America since 1988.

Dr. Ming-Swang Lok believes strongly in communication and education. His goal is to optimize the quality of life for his patients and to also help his patients and their loved ones manage the challenges that come along with cancer. He stays current with Clinical Trials and Research.
