BOSA therefore now hold European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) approval to maintain, repair and certify aircraft components in the categories C1, C6, C7,C15, C17, C18 or Limited Airframe, Accessories and Limited Specialised Services, in FAA language.
Broadly speaking, these approvals cover aircraft Air Conditioning, Galley and Pneumatic systems. Emergency systems including APU, Oxygen and Ice/Rain/Fire protection equipment is also incorporated with in BOSA's capability. Pooled spares supply organisations may now be supported more effectively as, with triple release certification, repaired parts will be compliant with the needs of aircraft operators worldwide.
