National Association of Professional Women Announces Denise Nazario, Global CAPA Manager at Stryker Corporation, a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year

“Since joining Stryker in 1996, I have held positions in manufacturing, packaging, operations and new product development and quality assurance management at Stryker Puerto Rico,” says Ms. Nazario.
For more than three years, Ms. Nazario has held the title of Global CAPA Manager at Stryker Corporation, a global leader in the medical technology industry. Throughout her nearly two-decade-long career, Ms. Nazario has successfully honed her industry knowledge and skills in problem solving, multifunctional remote team leadership and operations management, and is FDA and ISO13485 qualified. Her current responsibilities include leading improvements in the company’s non-conformance and corrective / preventive action process and electronic system (eCAPA).
Prior to taking on her current global role, Ms. Nazario was instrumental in developing Stryker Corporation’s global NC-CAPA process. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Nazario is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Psychology. A dedicated professional, she is actively involved with the American Society for Quality and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
