Netop Expands Multi-Factor Authentication Options with Release of Netop Remote Control

The new release features enhanced multi-factor authentication options to give both tech support teams and vendors greater flexibility while continuing to exceed PCI DSS compliance standards.
Expanded multi-factor authentication options in the new release of Netop Remote Control make it more secure and flexible than ever. With version 11.6, Netop Remote Control adds support for Windows Azure multi-factor authentication and allows authentication via SMS tokens, soft tokens and challenge-based tokens. With multi-factor authentication, organizations reduce risk and ensure compliance with PCI DSS. The wide range of authentication options available in the latest release of Netop Remote Control allows both large and mid-sized retailers to take advantage of Netop’s robust security and feature set as well as lower-cost multi-factor authentication methods.
