After breaking ground last week, David Weekley Homes expects to have this first model home at Randal Park finished and open for tours by mid-September.

The first model home at Randal Park, a master-planned community of Southeast Orlando new homes, is now under construction.
Construction crews broke ground last week on the David Weekley Homes model and have already raised the home’s roof.
A one-story Calypso plan, the model home will have three bedrooms and two baths, a bonus room, pool and fire pit. It should be finished and open for tours by mid-September.
David Weekley already has purchase contracts on six new homes at Randal Park and plans to begin construction in the next month on four showcase homes so they’ll have more available for buyers who are eager to move to the Orlando new home community.
“There has been a lot of excitement surrounding this development,” said Reed Berlinsky, Randal Park project director. “We’re glad that construction is now underway so we can begin to satisfy pent-up buyer demands.”
M/I Homes, which also will be building in Randal Park, plans to start construction of its model home shortly.
