New Campaign For The Widow of The Unknown Soldier Being Launched by Pastor Shepherd & PrayerHour.com
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- In an effort to support and honor the widow of the unknown soldier, Pastor Shepherd in conjunction with the online video ministry he leads http://www.prayerhour.com, has launched a new campaign and video sermon to stop those who oppress the widow.
The new video sermon and call to action was begun just prior to the 4th of July holiday to help shine more attention on the issue at a time when American patriotism is at its zenith. Americans are asked to consider the widow of the unknown soldier during their holiday, to end oppression, and honor the men and women who make sacrifices for the nation.
People interested in taking part in this new campaign can learn how by watching on youtube, or alternatively, visiting the official website: http://www.prayerhour.com.
Pastor Shepherd, when asked about the importance of the campaign stated, “Do what the Bible says. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to do what the Bible tells you what to do: do not oppress the widow.”
According to the ministry, there is no better way to celebrate July 4th than by honoring the widow through giving in support of this campaign. According to Pastor Shepherd, "There is nothing wrong with giving back, especially during holiday celebrations."
The new campaign follows the past success Pastor Shepherd and the prayerhour.com had creating the prayer warrior team in response to the Gulf Coast disaster.
