New PharmaHelps™ Network Webinar “Perfect Storm or Perfect Opportunity?” Examines the Impact of Increased Quality Measurements in the Era of Healthcare Reform
Kulpsville, PA (PRWEB) August 07, 2013 -- On Friday, August 16, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. ET, the PharmaHelps Network conducts the webinar “Perfect Storm or Perfect Opportunity?” This online discussion focuses on ways that providers, payers, and the pharmaceutical industry can work together to improve the patient experience and capitalize on the opportunities presented by healthcare reform.
The webinar will examine the most significant changes occurring in healthcare delivery today, including the increased number of patients, technological advances, the need for accurate metrics, and the greater demand for professional resources and patient empowerment.
Panel members represent key constituents: provider, payer, and pharmaceutical industry. Members include Robert Eidus, MD, MBA, of the Vanguard Medical Group, Cranford, New Jersey. Dr. Eidus is a recognized leader in the area of health quality and outcomes, having spent 12 years affiliated with the National Committee on Quality Assurance, including serving for nine years on the Review Oversight Committee.
The panel also includes Steven Peskin, MD, MBA, FACP, Senior Medical Director of Clinical Innovations at Horizon Healthcare Innovations. Dr. Peskin was also Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of MediMedia USA Inc, served as the CEO of Pharmaceutical Research Plus Inc., and founded Nelson Managed Solutions, a managed care consultancy.
