New Scientology Video “Together” Pays Tribute to Those Who Make a Difference on International Volunteer Day
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 06, 2014 -- On December 5 – International Volunteer Day –the Church of Scientology is launching a new 2-minute informational video ad entitled “Together.” Featured on the Scientology website, http://www.scientology.org, and the Church of Scientology YouTube Channel, the video pays tribute to the more than 700,000 unpaid helpers of all faiths and walks of life who use the humanitarian initiatives and social betterment programs sponsored by the Church of Scientology to address the problems that plague us all.
Working with more than 50,000 organizations including government agencies, schools, churches, human rights organizations and community groups, volunteers are making a difference with these programs in the lives of hundreds of millions of men, women and children across 193 nations.
The scope of the problem is immense: More than 200 million suffer from drug abuse worldwide, while nearly 700 million are victims of crime annually. Human rights violations impact one in four men, women and children across the globe. The video makes it clear that there is only one way to solve it – by working together.
The Church of Scientology and its members sponsor secular education programs that effectively curb drug abuse, teach tolerance, raise awareness of human rights and inspire morality across whole populations.
