The ABC news report notes that Panos was terminated from Mid Hudson Medical Group in 2011, and is currently the subject of a criminal investigation according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, although he has not yet been charged with a criminal offense. Attorney Rock alleges that Mid Hudson Medical Group and the hospitals involved in so many suspect surgeries may also be potentially liable for allowing the malpractice to take place.
